This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    auto run stopped working

    not sure if this has to do with settings or te laptop itself but auto run no longer works... i put in a cd or dvd and it just sits there unless i manually find it in a program, and that it shows whatever the last disc i had in was.

    any ideas how to fix this

    Have you made any changes lately? That could be the problem.

    In the meantime, though, I'd urge you to contact your reseller. They could probably help you troubleshoot this issue faster than the forum can.

    Right click on the drive and select properties. There is an AutoPlay tab with settings.
