Was wondering if anyone out there could give me and opinion on these to comp. stores. More specifically their laptops.

I am looking for a wide screen laptop with a centrino processor.
I would also like it to have at least 512mb ram and the ability to play "World of Warcraft", possibaly HL2, and also be good for a programmer. Wieght is also and issue and would like to not go over 7 pounds. I know already that the centino is not the best choice for gaming but i have a prof. at school who plays HL2 on his laptop which a centrino.( Dell D800 to be specific ) Price limit is also $2000.

At ibuypower i am looking at the Battalion 101 ML
    http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/configurator.aspx?mid=134

And at xtremenotebooks.com ia am looking at the Prostar 3722
    http://www.xtremenotebooks.com/index.php?section=specs&model_id=739

I have looked at resellerratings.com ratings of both and have seen and read about the ibuypower troubles that people have had but there are also customers that are very please.

    Ibuypower rating:
    http://resellerratings.com/seller2001.html

    Xtremenotebooks rating:
    http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1277.html

In comparision xtreme has the better reviews, but has had less of them. ~396 ibuypower to ~96 xtreme.

    Thanks for any help.

Be very careful dealing with xtremenotebooks.com. I posted this review on resellerrateings.com today.

"I ordered a custom built notebook from xtremenotebooks.com. Great notebook, the order was filled and shipped promptly. The problem is with the customer service. One of the accessories that I ordered (a 320 gig esata hard drive) was unavailable, so I opted for a different esata drive. When the drive arrived it was not esata, but a usb (much slower). It has taken (in my openion) too long to resolve this matter and I had to pay for the shipping cost for their mistake. Also, I requested some diagrams and parts info from their support staff and have not received that either. They build excellent notebooks, but the customer service is terrible. I will never buy anything else from them, nor recommend them to my customers (I am a computer tech). "

    I think I would check out powernotebooks.com or sagernotebooks.com or avadirect.com.

Please don't revive old thread(in this case ancient). Look at the date of the last post before posting...

    Thanks.
