    Hi all,

I tried to install XP on my JFL92 but until now I failed. The problem is the classical one with XP : it doesn't recognize SATA disks.

    - first I tried to create a customized installation CD with nlite using the drivers given on the CD furnished on the laptop but it didn't work.
    - then I tried to plug a USB floppy drive and use it during XP installation (F6 key) but it failed too.

I tried with the drivers given on the CD furnished with the laptop and with the Intel Matrix Storage Manager drivers ( http://support.intel.com/support/chipsets/imsm/ ) but neither worked.

So if anyone who has installed XP can help me, tell me what drivers to use, give me some advices/tutorial, I would really appreciate.

    Thanks in advance.

Well, JFL90 users disabled 'AHCI' in the BIOS to allow the XP install to go through so I dont see a reason why the JFL92 shouldnt have that option.

Also a XP SP2 disk with SATA drivers should work...did you try to redownload the drivers from Intels site?
