Original post closed looking to buy fl92 fingerprint reader board

Well my 8600m finally kicked the bucket this morning so i have my laptop apart. Served me 3 years and hoping to extend that so giving it an overhaul with a new ati card, new power jack, and hopefully a new fingerprint reader.

If someone has one available or know somewhere to purchase please reply.
No luck on ebay, google i do get results for a Romanian store. For those interested the board is labeled LS-3548P

Found a sager palmrest on ebay woot!!!

Funny how i didn't ever use the fingerprint reader for like the first year of ownership, then found myself using it all the time for websites and locking/unlocking logins. Think i caught a fingernail on the sensor once that made it loose then it eventually stopped being detected by windows. Sensor fell out later during cleaning and the board showed some signs of burnout.

Moving on for those who do use sensor what is latest software to use to make compatible with Firefox 3.6.22? Haven't used sensor since Feb 2010 i think i had a plugin directly from upek? I think i installed a Lenovo version of the upek suite too since i was hoping to source a lenovo board way back then
