The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

I've not used Time but I don't think they get on many people's shortlist. If my memory is correct, the present Time company was created out of the ashes of a predecessor which went bankrupt (maybe my memory is wrong). If I were on a tight budget I would look carefully at the Fujitsu Siemens models being sold by Staples http://www.staples.co.uk/ENG/Catalog/cat_class.asp?name=UK_CL_Laptops&CatIds=1347,1889 or may even be in your local Woolworths.
