    Sound card drivers

    I had a 6214W for about 3 months now. Im currently trying to update my sound card drivers, I now have 5.10.00.5265 installed.

    On the drivers website new drivers are available (5.12.1.5250)

    ftp://ftp.zepto.dk/Znote6214W/Drivers/XP/Audio/WinXP/

    I've downloaded them, extracted and run the setup exe. But upon installing I get this error:

    Obviously ive restarted my system a few times to try and get it to work, but to no avail
    Ideas anyone?

    Are you extracting them before you try and open it or just opening the folder in XP? It also looks like that file might be corrupt, the file size of it is one tenth the size of the previous one I don't see how they could make a newer driver be 4.3Mb when the previous one is almost 50Mb.

    I extract it first then run the setup. Yes I did think it was abit weird that it was only about 4 mb.

    Anyone with a 6214W managed to update their audio drivers?

    Hi! I got a zepto 6214w too, and i get the same message as you, dont understand why.
    My sound keys on my laptop keyboard (for controlling mute, volume increase/decrease) doesnt work either, any idea how to set theese up so they could work again?. In addition to this the sound on videos and games on the internett doesnt work, but they worked before..
    please help :)..
