I placed the order on Wednesday the 20th and TNT tried to deliver my new znote on Tuesday 26th (I was not available so I got it on the 27th), even tho the website told me that I had to wait more than 12 days.

I installed Vista yesterday and I have to say I'm extremely happy that I decided to got for a Zepto.

IB was very helpful all the way so he gave a VERY good first impression.

To my surprise I could run S.T.A.L.K.E.R in full resolution and it was moving like a knife through melting butter. The notebook got hot but not as hot as I expected compared to my previous notebook. I'm just waiting for the first proper DX10 game now (MS Flight Simulator X?).

I just wanted to tell you all that so far Zepto has been really amazing and their product is also 1st class. If I had to complain it would be regarding the LCD not giving the best black "color", but other than that is a really really computer.

    Cheers :)

Sounds good, another happy customer with a zepto.
The delivery time seems satisfying (where are you located btw?), I placed an order for a 3415 the 25th, it said 14 days, hopefully I'll get it next week.

I have several games I want to try out when I recieve my laptop, Stalker, Rainbow Six: Vegas, GRAW 2, Oblivion, Medieval Total War 2 :D I expect to run them all on high settings.

Could you provide us with the exakt specs? Did you go for the hybrid drive?

    Can't wait for mine. :)

    6 Cell Battery (250324)
    NVIDIA® Geforce 8600M GT Info Text (800104)

    * i changed the 120gb 5400rpm to a 100gb 7200rpm right before it went in production, thanks to IB :)

i didnt have the guts going for the hybrid drive (i was very close to selecting it). i dont know too much about it so i read it up, and after all the pro and cons i decided to play it safe.

does anyone know how/if the intel turbo memory works? could i get almost the same result using a fast flashcard instead of the hybrid drive?

Don't expect to run Rainbow Six: Vegas on high @ native res. Even the 8800 GTX stutters sometimes on high at only 1440x900.

Glad to see another happy owner, I'm ordering one from them soon.

I believe those hybrid drives Zepto is selling only have like 256 or 512 MB's of flash memory, instead of 1 GB mem which flashcards have.

They have 256MB flash. They have no speed benefit but it does give you 20 minutes more battery life with light use (web surfing) that doesnt have much disk activity.
