I just recieved a brand new 6128 laptop today. After surfing the net a bit a blue screen appeared with an error message. Apparently there is something wrong with a device driver, whatever that is. Now my computer restarts spontaneously. The only new software I installed was Norton Anti-Virus and a flash plug-in for Explorer. I don't know anything about computers. I called customer service and they told me to reinstall the system from the recovery media cd's that came with the computer. I did that and it didn't work. Please help! I'm just about ready to return the computer. This is the second one I've gotten--I already returned the first one because the screen was damaged.

I believe the specific file is System32DriversNtfs.sys
One error message said this file is corrupt or missing. I've actually located it on my hard drive but don't know what to do with it. That was before I reinstalled the system. Now the computer just restarts without telling me what's wrong.

    1) When you tried the recovery media cd's, did it go through entire recovery process or were you unable to even do that?
    2) If you recovered the system with the CD's, its likely the HD could be corrupt. Which means you would need to return the system. Very bad!
