    Hey guys...

I wanted to gauge your opinions on a lower cost MEDION laptop that seems to have decent specs for an acceptable price here in UK.

    I don't mind the fact its 17"... in fact, I like a 17" screen.
I was considering this kind of unit to potentially replace my existing one in my signature (desktop replacement Acer Predator Helios 500 PH517-61 with Ryzen 2700 and Vega 56).
    Nothing wrong with the Acer.
In fact, it will play anything I throw at it and can retain very low temperatures due to its exceptional cooling.

Problem is, I'm working in 3d animation software which has limited (read 0) support for AMD gpu's... hence, I'm limited to the CPU for rendering (which is a bummer).

The Medion seems to have 5800H (which is obviously faster than my Ryzen 2700) and RTX 3060 which should be faster than my Vega 56 (though not by much).
The main thing with the 3060 is that 3dsMax (software I use for my studies) will be able to use the the RTX gpu for rendering - whereas, right now, it can't (since Arnold only works with NV - and ProRenderer wasn't updated for 3dsMax 2022 - and I need to use Max 2022).

The things I would obviously do on the MEDION is replace that pitiful SSD with my 2TB one, and the RAM I'd upgrade with my 2900MhZ 2x32GB sticks that are currently in the Acer (basically, swap things around).

My question is, does this MEDION have a MUX switch?
In all likelihood it doesn't, but its difficult to find reviews on this unit...so its also impossible to gauge how good (or bad) its cooling and noise are.

    Any thoughts?
