I think you can buy those prepaid visa and mastercards and put the money on it to purchase. I would call them (Zepto) beforehand and make sure that is ok, or if your debit card is Visa debit then it should work.

I was told by Ian that a "bank transfer" can be done, thus avoiding the credit card fee as well.

Hmm. I got an 'Rejected By Acquirer' error with my Debit card. It's VISA, so it really should have worked.
Just to check, has anyone else successfully paid with a visa debit card?

    Hi

I purchased my laptop with my mums card which was a VISA debit card. I think that as long as the card is a VISA card of some sort then it shoudnt be a problem

I also had the rejected by acquirer thing..... i advise you to perhaps check with your bank now that the transaction apparently hasnt gone through as i had a problem where Abbey was in the process of carrying out a transaction (after i had the screen say rejected by acquirer) even though Zepto had not actually recieved an order (since according to the website there wasnt one!). Maybe it was just me, but i had problems (wasnt Zeptos fault though, it was the banks)

Credit card companies often reject large value internet transactions because of fraud concerns. If the card holder phones the credit card company and confirms that it is a valid transaction then it should go through on the next attempt.

Thanks John. I contacted my bank and got them to allow the particular transaction.
Finally put my order in for a 6224w :). Haven't got any confirmation e-mail yet, nor has my account been charged, but I guess I need to wait a bit.
