HW moniter does not report a GPU temp for my laptop (in sig)
is this for everyone?
-
just get gpu-z
-
RivaTuner is the best GPU temp monitoring program to date.
HWmonitor is a good one too, very basic, no install needed. -
yea... i want to use HW moniter, xD
GPUZ did/does work, fyi -
switching to the nvidia notebook drivers fixed it...
and darn 71c idle! -
Which drivers were you using before?
-
the ones from the disc, i did not load up the new drivers before that xD
Also, i did get a display driver not responding yesterday...
My temp was about 78c and i have the laptop propped up.... any suggestions? (and yes, i have SP1 and every update) -
78 degrees is definitely a problem. How hard is your fan running and what is your CPU temperature?
-
i'm assuming that is bad xD
and not very fast..
And the fan is at a higher setting than load, but does not sound very fast :/
Also, i can't find any new bios's or anything either
Can some one give me a link to the drivers/bios updates? -
http://www.compal.com/asp/driver_dnd/index.htm
This is where I got the BIOS for my JHL90.
Hope this helps! -
ok cool.
So, jsut make a bootable flashdrive with the HP utility, put the files from the exe, then run xxx.bat? or xxx.rom?
What if i want to use a CD, same HP utility? (i've never actually made a bootable cd xD)
No GPU temp?!
