    No GPU temp?!

    HW moniter does not report a GPU temp for my laptop (in sig)


    is this for everyone?

    RivaTuner is the best GPU temp monitoring program to date.

    HWmonitor is a good one too, very basic, no install needed.

    switching to the nvidia notebook drivers fixed it...


    and darn 71c idle!

    the ones from the disc, i did not load up the new drivers before that xD

    Also, i did get a display driver not responding yesterday...
    My temp was about 78c and i have the laptop propped up.... any suggestions? (and yes, i have SP1 and every update)

    78 degrees is definitely a problem. How hard is your fan running and what is your CPU temperature?

    umm, around 40 idle and 48ish on load

    i'm assuming that is bad xD

    and not very fast..


    And the fan is at a higher setting than load, but does not sound very fast :/
    Also, i can't find any new bios's or anything either :(

    Can some one give me a link to the drivers/bios updates?

    So, jsut make a bootable flashdrive with the HP utility, put the files from the exe, then run xxx.bat? or xxx.rom?

    What if i want to use a CD, same HP utility? (i've never actually made a bootable cd xD)
