    Hi gays ;

    I need BIOS recovery tools for JFT00 (12") .
    I have the latest BIOS but I need to repair my notebook's BIOS.
    If anyone has , pls let me know.

    my old BIOS version was 103A. I wanted to update 105A. but after updated my notebook doesn't boot.

    If you know have to recover my bios step by step Pls help me !

    I know for fl90, fl91, ft00, ft01 notebooks recovery steps. below. I've tried it. Didn't work.
    If u have something like that let me know!

    Please follow the below steps for the crisis process.
    # Create a crisis disk steps:
    Setp1: Please prepare one Floppy Disk, and please full format this floppy Disk.
    Step2: Please run this “Floppy Image.exe” and then choose the crisis source image “CRD04T02.imz”

    # Crisis process steps:
    Step1: Please press keyboard “FN+B” key first.
    Step2: Please plug in AC.
    Step3: Plug in USB-FDD (the USBFDD needs to insert this CRISIS DISK)
    Step4: Press power button to system on.
    Step5: Please wait about 3~5 minute and please waits it until system power down.
    Step6: Please remove USB Floppy.
    Step7: Please remove AC and battery power and then insert battery and AC power.
    Step8: press power button to system on.
    Step9: If system auto shutdown, please press power button to system on again.

    My way to recover the JFT00 BIOS:

    1. Prepare a USB Stick with the bios file(s):

    - "small" USB-Stick (only 64 MB Stick, because the 2 GB Stick did not work! I think the maximum is 1 GB)
    - Format with FAT (simple format, no boot option)
    - Copy the latest BIOS file JFT0105A.FD from
    http://www.compal.com/Download/NB/JFT00/BIOS/JFT0105A.ZIP
    with different filenames on it

    The problem is to know the right filename for the bios recovery file.
    So I copied the JFT0105A.FD with different filenames on the same stick:

    BIOS.FD
    COMPAL.FD
    INSYDE.FD
    JFT.FD
    JFT0.FD
    JFT00.FD
    JFT0001S.FD
    JFT00HW.FD
    JFT01.FD
    JFT0105A.FD
    ONE.FD
    V1200.FD
    V1200HW.FD
    Wuhan.fd
    WuhanA09.fd

    2. Do the bios recovery:

    - remove the battery,
    - remove the power cord of the AC adapter
    - Insert the stick in one of the usb ports (i.e. the port near to the power button)!
    - press and hold "Fn" + "B"
    - put the power cord in
    - press "Power On" button.
    - sceen left blank but the light of the usb stick blinks
    - release your fingers
    - bios recovers (still blank screen)
    - it takes some minutes
    - when the light of the usb stick and the power led is off disconnect AC adapter

    - power on the notebook
