    Hi
After i have reinstalled Windows XP,
Windows doesn't regionize the USB hosts anymore.
I reinstalled the Chipsetdriver (vers. 8.3.0.1013) but it
    didn't help.

Please help me, i can't live without USB :D

    Hi Phoenix,

Did you do your re-install any different than the 1st time you had installed. I assume with your first install the USBs were working just fine.

Why did you reinstall the XP again ... did you have Virus or something!?!?

    G! :)

Does it show the USB hosts under Other devices in Device Manager or are there no USB hubs or controllers listed in the DM at all? If you have them listed as Other devices, try uninstalling all of them and either clicking Action and then Scan for hardware changes, or reboot to be sure the system picks them up after a fresh start. See if Windows will find and install drivers for them the second time around. If USB just doesn't appear at all in the list, the hardware may actually have failed or your chipset driver isn't playing nice with Windows. You might want to reinstall Windows again in that situation, before you get too far along in setting the system back up.
