    HEL80 4GB memory upgrade

    I have a HEL80 from 2 years and I want to upgrade the memory and hard disk. My question is can I put him 4GB Ram?

    You can physically put in 4GB of memory(2GB in each slot), but windows will only be able to use around ~3GB(somewhere in between 3 and 4GB) because of a chipset limitation. Also, you may need to upgrade the BIOS upgrade for the computer to even recognize more than 1GB in each slot.
    Look for 200pin DDR2 so-dimm modules DDR2-667 or DDR2-800(should downclock). My advice is to go with he cheapest with a lifetime warranty.

    As for the HDD, look for a SATA 2.5in HDD. For which HDD to chose, look here(Hard drive recommendations and benchmarks).
