I was just curious if the 7600 was powerfull enough to play back 1080p video. I had seen that anydvd hd is now out so i could use the xbox 360 hd drive and play the discs with the encryption removed on a DLP set that i will be getting in a few weeks via the vga connector with a converter. Does any one know if the hel80 support component video out via a break out cable? I got one from my geforce 6600 and was wondering if i plugged that in, if it would work or not.

Thanks in advance for any help, thoughts.

I guess the Hel80 is powerfull enought to play the video, does anyone know if it outputs component video out through a break out cable like the ones that come with desktop video cards?

I guess this is one of those questions that is hard to answer. I may try to borrow an adapter from my buddy when i get my tv and post my findings.
    thanks to all anyways.

Did anyone ever try this out? I have seen drivers for 7600 Go's that mention component out settings, but I don't want to buy a breakout cable if its not going to work.

You could try watching the 1080p trailers on the apple site and see how they run.
