Any Idea why my fan runs constantly on my HEL80? I've got the 123B bios version and running Notebook hardware control.... but my fans runs constantly in a slow speed and thats freaking me out ):

That's how they were made to run. There are certain temps where the fan shuts off and where the fan goes back on. So once you reach that certain temp, your fan will shut off. But that won't last long, as the components heat up real quick w.o any cooling, so the fans will come back on within 20 seconds.

So it's good to have a low hum fan constantly on, rather than no fan for 20 seconds, then a fan full blast for another 20 seconds, then off again, then on again every 20 seconds. I think that's more annoying than just a constant low hum.

You should be able to roll back the driver, unless you disabled system restore. Just go into Device Manager, go to the properties for the GeForce Go 7600, and use the driver tab to roll back the driver.

You may also want to consider cleaning the fans with compressed air. The more dust is in the system, the hotter it will run, the more the fans will have to work to keep the system cool.
