    I just picked up this compal dfy30-15 model #dcy30 and looking for drivers,manuals or any info that I can find .looked everywhere and this is the only place on the planet it is mentioned.please help

    compal is a ODM (original design manufacturer). They manufacture the notebook whether it be barebone or fully featured, and are normally rebranded as something else. This might be why its hard to find drivers, manual and info on it. If you work out which company buys that specific notebook model, you might have more luck with info from their site.

    no one else have any info I tried everything and so far no luck.bizcom-us has drivers but cant log on or sign up to get into their site.any ideas

    Compal DCY30 came up with some hits....user manual:

    General specification of the laptop are located here. If you want to find the exact specification of your laptop then use some of the programs like PC Wizard that are listed under Resource Monitors in the The Ever-Growing Free Windows Software List .

    As for drivers, try contacting Compal or finding the manufacturers of the components(for example if you have an intel wireless card, go to intel for the drivers)

    I have tried everest on this laptop and still no sound or wifi.drivers that work.going crazy. please help. this laptop is a pentium 2.8.so its worth the effort to get it to work.please help finding the right drivers.

    I found the sound drivers on www.driversdown.com just look for: Realtek ALC202A/ALC650 AC97 Audio driver 6.0.1.6302 Windows Vista(32/64)/Win7(32/64) and will work.. and its free
