I maybe getting a 6615wd barebone from zepto. Does anyone have built one from the scratch? I think hdd and memory are easy to install, but I don't know about the cpu. Anyone has checked how it is attached? Also I don't know if they'll give me any warranty. :)

    Can this work? :p

    My thoughts on the subject:
I feel it's worth a little extra to get the convenience of a single warranty alone.

Yes I see what you are thinking. :)
You're right about the warranties, they are concerning me too.
But building it myself would make it about 300$ cheaper. I think that's a lot of money.

For about the same price I would get a ready hel80 with the same specs. That got me thinking is the 6615WD-build quality and less weight worth the price.

Building hel80 on that video sure looks pretty easy. :)

$300 definitely makes the decision a more difficult one. You will need to decide which is more important. In this business though, you get what you pay for--so by saving money you're always cutting something else out.

The coverage my notebook got when I bought it was a huge bonus to me.

After lot of thinking I decided that maybe it's not worth it. :p
You are right about that it would save money now, but could come expensive later on. As a student I don't maybe want to take that risc.

Thanks for advices. Now I should decide between 6615 or hel80.
This is driving me crazy. :)

I have a review of the HEL80 in my signature--it then links to the other three HEL80 reviews we have here at NBR.
