I was just wondering if the 3250HX was a good deal or not. I am entering college and need a cheap laptop to last me throughout college. I'm looking to spend under $1,000 and was just wondering if this notebook was worth the money. Tell me what you think.

I hear at Staples, you can get an Averatec 4000 for about $900 after rebates, and I'm sure its of better quality than the 3250HX. I've heard of so many problems with the 3000 series from Averatec.
