I have a 6625WD. When I plug the power cable the computer keeps on switching between outlet power and battery power about 2 times a second(the battery light and the screen brightness and battery icon in XP system tray are the indicators). I am not sure but I think the problem is between the powerjack and the motherboard. The warranty will run out next month.
I bought the computer from zepto France which recently cancelled their partnership with zepto because of unresponsiveness from denmark center. I emailed the customer service but there is no answer for 3 days now.

What I am asking is if anybody knows what kind of a problem is this? Can it be repaired by any computer service? Should I just buy a new computer? any advice will be appreciated.

Oh btw I advise anybody reading this not to buy zepto computers, their financial future is VERY uncertain if they continue to treat their partners like this.

    Call Zepto's Customer service up.
    (+45) 70 204 304
You should be able to get it repaired when you still have 1 month of warranty on it.

Or go to www.zepto.dk and press the Live Chat Button

I'm have just got this problem today have you found out if it is the laptop or the power brick or are you still as stuck as me.

I'll be going to a laptop shop tommor to see if they have a muliti-meter so i can see what sort of voltage is coming out of the brick, becuase if i plug it into the wall without pluging it into my laptop then the LED on the brick stays a soild green, as soon as it's pluged into my laptop the LED starts to blink before then loseing all its power.

if i unplug it from the laptop it stays with no power even when i turn the wall plug off and on i have to remove the cable from the brick and plug it back in before it will get power to the brick again.

i have tryed taking the batterys out and turning it on stays on for adout 1/2 sec and then out of power and brick loses power also tryed charging it and the battery light turns on and off ever 2 secs before stoping and then nothing.

i have tryed to be as in depth as possible and try everything so maybe someone will know if its the brick or the laptop its self.

    P.S sorry about my grammer and spelling i have always been horrible at writeing ^^;;

It is either the power brick dying or the computer has a fault and is overloading the PSU.

The one test I can think of is to find a mains power meter and see what the power consumption (Watts) is for:

    (i) PSU plugged in to mains but not connected to computer (probably around 1W)
(ii) PSU connected to computer but computer is off (around 1W is battery is not charging, up to 40W if battery is charging)
(iii) Turn on computer and watch the power reading carefully. Normally (no battery charging) I would expect about 30W. If the power does not increase much (less than 10W) then I think the PSU has a problem. If it goes very high (more than 90W then maybe the computer has a problem has the PSU is shutting itself down).

If English is not your native language then you have done very well.

First off.. Do not ever apologize for something that is out of your control. No worries.

I always keep a spare power cable just for cases like this. Id hate to be traveling and have an issue where I couldnt charge my laptop.
