I noticed my 6625 had started to run at 90 when watching movies so I decided to clean up the insides. First time in almost 2years. So I happily opened the front and vacuumed it thoroughly and decided to scrape off the old thermal grease and add some fresh. So I removed what I thought was a warranty "seal"... with pliers. Thinking back now I see how stupid that was :D
I put everything back, removed the back panel and immideately noticed more of those "seals". I looked at them for a few seconds, then cursed a few minutes. All those "seals" led to the network card.
So now the notebook runs 30c cooler but can't connect to wlan. Any suggestions on how I could fix this myself or am I ed? There's 1month of warranty left but I think it won't cover this.
The notebook is Znote 6625WD with Intel wireless card. Picture tells a lot.
Edit1: And it seems Imageshack didn't resize it.

If you've cut the network antenna wires then you have got an interesting repair job. I would be looking for a small soldering iron.

Confirmed it's the antenna, everything works exept the wlan. It's got to be a very small soldering iron, the actual lines are 1/10 of the diameter and inside a plastic covering.

Soldering irons designed for electronics usually have a small tip. You may need some fine wire to make a bridge (cut open some old flex).

Is the outside cover just insulation or is it woven wire to provide shielding. If the latter then you also have to try to repair the shielding after insulating your repair with some tape.

You cannot solder the wire. These wires are so small and there are twisted pairs inside of 1 wire. I see no other solution then replace the complete wire set. This will cost you several hours to fix :)

Yeah it's gonna take a while. I have to do this myself, paying minimum of 100€ for something like this feels just wrong.
So this leaves me with a little request, is there a way to get some disassembly instructions? I know where the antenna runs but I haven't tried to open the whole case yet. I know it's going to be tricky. :/ But this'll have to wait a few weeks, off to a little vacation tomorrow.
