    How can i connect some 5.1 speakers to the laptop ? Can i use the microphone input as output ? I really cant see how to do it ... =/

    Yes i do, but i need two outputs to connect to the speakers, or else it only will have 2.1 i guess. =/

    The speakers are the x-530 from logitech.

    I think the only thing you can do is invest in an external sound card. I'm in the same boat, using my Klipsch promedia 5.1s as 2.1s...

    You can use X-Fi XpressCard plus 5.1 extension modul.
    I personally have 5.1, but intend of buying sound card I preferred 2.0 Microlab Solo-6C speakers with much more descent sound compared to most low budget 2.1 and 5.1 systems.

    Yes, you can reassign the input to output. The problem lies in the fact that the FL90 can only do 4 channel High Definition audio to my understanding. Some people may misinterpret HD Surround Sound for 5.1 but this is not the case. I hope this has been helpful.

    I've tried reassigning the ports, but I can't find anything that would let me do it (i've done it in the past on other laptops).

    Compal's Realtek chip is 2-channel audio IC.
    So no can do.
