I have a 3250, and it has not turned on in almost a year. It's the dc jack. It has melted my plug. I had went on the old unofficial averatec site and had done a quick fix for a bit and it worked for about 2 months but now it has went out on me again. Has any one ever bought one of those dc jacks off of ebay and fixed theirs? It seems so simple that its almost too good to be true. I really need to get mine going but to sent it back to averatec it's going to cost about $400 and it will cost about the same to take it in to a shop around here. We have had it apart many times so taking it apart to fix it is no problem I just don't want to wast money buying this dc jack if it just junk. Thanks....
