i was on google and i found this benchmark
it uses a AMD X2 Turion 64 TL-60
i still have not seen the tl-60 in many laptops.
the duo is the T2500

the english is not the best, but you can read and understand the pics ...
i was surprised on many of their tests, esp on single core tests, the pentium m outperofrmed the duo and x2 sometimes... mainly because of the processor frequency.
however, on the tests with multiple cores, the amd never came in first.. wahh..
BUT i dunno if any of these tests utilize teh 64bit part of the processor, because i would like to see some 64bit tests too if possible

So unfortunately for AMD, the only advantage that the X2 really has over the current Core duo is its ability for 64-bit processing...
Seeing how the X2 can't beat the core duo and that Intel has been pounding AMD in the portable world with Centrino, AMD's gonna have to step it up, especially if they want a competitor to Merom. -
you need to get a shorter name, compchall
i found turion x2 benchmark
