Announcements from Nvidia and gaming companies are expected, and companies such as Alienware, Toshiba and Sony will be at the event that starts Thursday in full force. We'll be there to cover it!
While only in its second year, digitallife has grown 40% this year after an impressive kickoff last year. The list of exhibitors includes:
- ATI
- Belkin
- Sony Electronics
- Electronic Arts
- Alienware
- AMD
- Dell
- HP
- Intel
- Konami
- Nvidia
- Microsoft
- Toshiba
And many, many others of which a full list can be seen here: http://www.digitallife.com/exhibitors.html
Today Square Enix is kicking off its Final Fantasy XII release in Times Square as part of digitallife. They'll have Final Fantasy XII available to play at digitallife this week before the official release on October 31st. Other games such as BattleField 2142 will be on display and playable. Toshiba will be featuring a LAN party with its Satellite P105 gaming notebooks. Sony will be at the event with the PS3 on display. Alienware is "descending" and promises a cool setup with the latest games to play on its notebooks. And Nvidia tells us they will have "something" to announce tomorrow regarding notebooks. Belkin should be at the show with their new Universal Docking Station so we hope to see that in action. Palm and T-Mobile plan to launch new SmartPhones tomorrow. We'll have pictures and reports to post of any news that happens at the show.
If you're in the NYC area and want to go to the show, it is open to the public starting Thursday afternoon. Tickets can be purchased online at www.digitallife.com. The event takes place Thursday - Saturday at the Javits Center on the west side of Manhattan.
