Great Review, answered all my questions especially about a lighted KB. I am amazed battery life is better than my G73 downclocked to 85/115 @95 V.
Wish I could work a trade plus cash to get this Sager.
Thanks Drift king, I almost sold my G73 cheap VVVVVVVVV -
Great review! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
One problem though... It was stated that there is an option to add a backlit keyboard:
"(Our model didn't have the backlit keyboard option, but you can add one with multi-colors it on for $100)."
and here:
The cost is so high because our review unit is almost the highest configuration available, minus some of the "extras" such as a a backlit keyboard.
Currently, there is NO option to add a backlit keyboard. You may want to get change that part of your review as it will lead to confusion among those looking to purchase this system. And if you are aware of an upcoming backlit keyboard option (something a lot of us have been clamoring for), let us know. Personally, I hope they release an user upgradeable backlit keyboard sometime soon! =) -
Wait, they only took external temperature measurements? If they're going to claim "runs extremely cool even when exerted" they should probably, you know, measure the actual temperature of the components.
