A few other helpful Windows shortcuts...

Windows + Tab: Aero windows switcher
    Windows + P: Projector Setup
    Windows + L: Lock computer
Windows + X: Windows Mobility Center
    Windows + F: Windows search
Windows + E: Open File Explorer (in 7, will open Libraries)
Windows + R: Open "Run..." dialog
Windows + G: Bring gadgets into view
Ctrl + Esc: Open start menu (same as Windows button, but cannot be used in button combos)

One of the shortcuts that I use the most is Windows + Pause. This brings up the Control Panel > System menu. I use it mostly as a quick way into the Device Manager.

Also, am I the only person that still uses Ctrl + Insert for copy, Shift + Insert for paste, and Shift + Delete for cut? I miss DOS.

Nice shortcuts! I did not know about those. :)

Also, a quick way to get into the device manager - Windows key + R, they type devmgmt.msc

To reach Device Manager quickly, what I do id go to Control Panel in Classic View, right-click on Device Manager and create shortcut and then put the shortcut wherever is conveninet for you to reach easily.
