The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I would wager it to be a significant difference btw XP x64 and Vista or 7 x64 since the latter two were designed with a 64-bit architecture in mind, while the former was designed for a 32-bit architecture (XP x64 had/still has a lot more hardware/software incompatibilities, also partly due to lack of prevalence of 64-bit systems during that time).
