Last month MSI launched their hot looking and cool playing GX600 15.4&quot; gaming notebook. To celebrate, MSI wants to offer the gamers and notebook enthusiasts of the world a chance to win this Intel Core 2 Duo and Nvidia 8600 powered machine. Anyone can enter, but if you upload a screenshot from your favorite game MSI will &quot;overclock&quot; your chances to win.

Here's the low down on the contest and how it works:

• Visit the MSI GX600 Contest Page to find the registration form
• Enter information into the required fields (it's short, we promise)
• IF you want a better chance to win, upload a screenshot of your favorite 3D based game (make it a cool one please, no Solitaire) and we'll overclock your chances to win by 10x. That's right, you have a 10-fold better chance of winning just by uploading a gaming screenshot with your entry.
• IF you really are too lazy to upload a gaming screenshot or don't want to, then you can still enter, it'll just be tougher to win in the random drawing.

Once people start uploading their gaming screenshots we'll post them in the MSI Gaming Gallery for others to see. You can keep checking back there to see what kind of gaming screenshots people are posting and vote on your favorite or add comments to any particularly cool shots.

The contest will run through until December 14th, at which point we'll shut it down and randomly pick a winner from our entrants. But remember, those people that uploaded a screenshot will get ten raffle tickets in the random drawing instead of just the one if you don't upload a gaming screenshot (so do it!). Sorry for the delay. Please give it some time. Our gallery system requires "manual" verification and posting of the images before they go on our site. So someone from our staff has to go in, view each submission, and then add it to the gallery.

It stinks, but whenever there is an online contest where people submit images there are always a few bad apples that submit images that shouldn't be submitted. I think you know what I'm talking about.

Heh, I gave a screenshot from NFS Pro Sreet (the demo). Its at full settings at native res....My iMac still did like 20fps, which is a lot more than I was expecting.

 

To be fair though, those images are usually the most creative Anyone remember the french contest to win Halo3 by submitting a screenshot? LOLcats and hardcore porn must have outnumbered legitimate entries 5 to 1
