Apple has quietly updated its white MacBook with the Intel Montevina platform. The refreshed 13.3-inch MacBook features a Core 2 Duo processor with a 1066MHz Front-side bus (compared to the previous 800MHz). It also features superior graphics, with the old Intel integrated X3100 being replaced by the new Nvidia GeForce 9400M found in the new unibody MacBooks.

The refreshed 13.3-inch white MacBook is available from Apple directly for $999.00.

Huh, wonder why they did that.... still give the option of the plastic case?

Still uses DDR2 ram as well.

This is still a good deal it is hard to find a brand new notebook with these specs in the 13" form factor i might actually take a good look at this as the new macbook screen is overly glossy if this one is matte like its always been thats just another plus.
