    The My Passport Ultra I bought in 2014 was starting to have connection issues. I figured probably time to replace it anyway, so I bought two of these (one is a backup). So far, so good. Can't really beat the price.

    And I've been using the WD Backup software they came with. I was a Microsoft SyncToy user for the longest time but the WD stuff is simple enough.
