As some here may know i have an extensive insurance/underwriting/warranty background. Im prevy to some warranty info on manufacturers that most of you wont know.
We all shop for the sizzle and bells and whistles when you make your new purchase. Lots of things become factors when you decide which product is better than the other. But to me all of that is just surface gleam and sometimes just smoke and mirrors. All kinds of things motivate us to buy what we buy. But what would your next purchase be if you knew the back end of things and how often they broke down?? Would that change youre outlook??
Well, this is one of my main controlling factors what i look for.
This is an industry paper that i thought id share.
Make note of HP's and Dells claims. Dell's claims is 1.7 Billion!!! Thats almost half of Ford Motor corp!
HP has a lot of more products besides computers and they make a lot of industrialized motors and such but Dell's is quite shocking.
This on top of some mngmt skimming and corruption is not looking good for them
