    That does look interesting. If they can do one platter at 5mm, I'm hoping for two at 7mm.

    Finally Seagate harddrives (Momentus XT) will have competition!! Lets see how they will perform...

    But this drive never really came to be. We just have WD's 2 in 1 drive (1TB 7mm thick hard drive with a 120GB ssd, in total being 9.5mm thick) but no hybrid drive in the traditional sense. I am waiting for a hybrid drive with 32GB of flash, OS agnostic. Right now the best Seagate can do is 8GB. Toshiba? Fujitsu?
