    Western Digital (WD) today announced it is shipping the world's first ultra-slim 2.5-inch, 5 mm hard drives and solid state hybrid drives (SSHD), which are designed for integration into Ultrabooks and other slim devices and space-constrained computing environments. With 500 GB of storage capacity and models with high performance-enabling solid state hybrid drive technology, this new product line allows manufacturers and end users the ability to add high-capacity HDD storage to devices that previously could only use flash storage due to limited internal space.

    The price is nice for 500GB, but it didn't seem to mention speed, so I'm going to assume 5400 RPM :(
