    Wow...these notebooks were announced so long ago... I feel like they're dated already!

    Yes its dated, it has almost the same spec as the year old MBA.

    Uhh, the MacBook Air is only 7 months old, as it started to ship on Jan 29, 2008. And the VooDoo is thinner, looks better, and has far more utility, as it comes bundled with a DVD drive and has easily double the number of ports.

    It really isn't that dated.

    Really - It was only announced a couple months ago. Pretty average perod of time between that and release.

    I don't know if you can really compare Envy to MBA - at least in terms of design. Yes they are both think - but for me, the Envy look way more sleek and sophisticated.
