Surprise, surprise. Microsoft is delaying Vista, "with business availability in November 2006 and broad consumer availability in January 2007."

Yeah, I just saw this too on Ars Technica. Can't say I'm terribly dissapointed. I'd rather have them delay and get it right (hopefully) than have them rush a half baked pile of garbage to market.

I'm also of the mind to watch the so-called word on the street for about 6-12 months before taking the plunge. With new versions of Linux distros I'm usually an early adopter because it doesn't cost me anything, but I gotta wait a while until something commercial has proven itself before I lay out cash for it. -
When and where was it posted earlier? Chazman included it in a 10 pm (EST) post. My post was at 7:30 pm EST.
