Yeah its basically the same as the 1000H just lower capacity battery and a major face lift.

They are trying to appeal to the group of people that would have abandoned the 1000H because it was too big/bulky/ugly and go for a product like the S10 or Aspire One because they are thinner/smaller/lighter/pretty

On paper the 1000H is better but in person the 1002HA is awesome, it is thinner & lighter, it has a bigger touchpad, new buttons, and it is the best looking netbook of them all I think, and still priced very reasonably.

Id get one if I did not have a 1000H already, and I would trade my 1000H for one even though I would lose some battery power a I have found I never needed the full 6-7 hours of life the 1000H can give.

Just a bit of time while waiting in a doctors office, some time while waiting to be seated at a restaurant, maybe to show a friend a youtube clip really fast. I use it in small spurts on battery.

If I ever need to use it for extended amounts of time I am always on mains power. I even got a power inverter for $40 at walmart so I can run it in my car without worry of power (nice when I use it for GPS)

So I would be willing to trade out my battery life some for the gains of the 1002HA. There are a few "mods" I have done that have not been worked out for the 1002HA yet but I can live without those too.

Yes, i actually was looking at pics this look like the S101 which sucks for S101 buyers

the MSI U120 seems astounding though notebookjournal realized this thing has a 900:1 contrast ratio that MURDERS anything currently available.

I just want to see all these netbook move to 1024 x 768 and 1280 x 800 until then ill probably be holding my money.

I think the HP mini is the only netbook that has reached this feat though i saw it in person and hated the screen that thing is like a mirror......

Yes I do not like the G50V glosssy screen so I much prefer the matte screen of the 1000H. Since the main point of a netbook is to be ultra portable and be able to go with you anywhere and be used anywhere, you would think its common sense to use a matte screen since it can be used in any environment.

Glossy however is horrible if your in sunlight or bright artificial light. Not worth it for the boost it vibrancy or contrast at all.
