These are some good-looking notebooks; their keyboard layout is abysmal but other than that, rather solid machines.
That would be an error in the editor, it changed the link. It works on the front page but not in here, however it is fixed now. Thanks for the heads up.

The T115D looks good to me. I'm hoping we see some reviews of these soon!

Looks like there are a few of the 115D's in stock at Amazon, but they show conflicting information; in one area of the specs, it says single core, in another it says dual core. It's priced @ $449, but it does have wifi bgn, HDMI out and an eSata port. The Toshiba site lists one for $499 with the dual core (in that gorgeous textured finish with RED as an option!) with the same goodies.

I want to get it from Amazon because I have a gift certificate there, and obviously because it's a bit less, though it's only in black. I could live with the black with the finish. I may just bite the bullet. There are a few little nit picks I've had with the Lenovo x100e, and frankly, the Tosh is just plain better looking aesthetically. Shallow, but there it is.

EDIT: Oo, correction. Amazon has both a dual core Neo with a 250GB drive for $449 and a dual X2 L325 w/320 GBcore for $499. Looks like my wait is over.

Bit the bullet on the dual core MV-40 for $449, should be here tomorrow. I'll give my impressions. I wanted it in red, but I'm tired of waiting and black is nice, too !

Hmm ... afaict the main boost is a little more cpu power and graphics power trading off with less battery life.

I own a T115 and can eke out almost 10 hours of battery life in everything dulled down mode and only doing word processing....

Maybe these are not so much an alternative either/or type of thing but rather more choice options?

Which is the better AMD chip if getting the T135D ? I'm assuming it's the $499. config on Amazon. Thanks.
