FCP-X is a joke in the professional graphics industry. The earlier generations could surely be considered, but definitely not the latest "iMovie 'Pro'". As for Premiere, it was probably too expensive to make it on the list (judging from the prices on the 5 that did) (also, probably another reason why PCP-X wasn't included).

I am fairly certain none will work natively with Linux, I have a friend who is a pro photographer and he swears by Top 6 Must Have Linux Video Editing Software in 2013 | Techenter Kdenlive for video editing (he is an Apple guy)
