The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just saw this too. I consider this fantastic news for the market. I don't think the statment is quite right about pricing though. They make it sound like the notebooks will be 50% off, which they won't be. Anyway, this is great for Lenovo and buyers alike.

    Yeah - 50% price drop is unrealistic.

    Definitely not right. The problem is the way it's written. There are Thinkpads R Series that cost $699 now, but Lenovo isn't cutting prices by 50%.

    I read the same thing on CNet today.
