In this roundup we compare two budget 15.6-inch notebooks whose primary selling factor is thinness. Both the Acer Aspire V5-571 and the HP ENVY Sleekbook 6z retail for between $500-600 and get five or more hours of battery life.

I'll stick with my Samsung NP900X4C which shows what can be done in terms of thickness and weight in the 15" size range. However, I acknowledge that it can't be called "budget".

Do the Acer ULV or LV processor have HD4000 or lesser graphic?

The LV/ULV processors include a slower clocked HD 4000.

    Example:

    i5-3317u HD 4000: Base 350MHz / Max 1.05GHz

    i5-3320M HD 4000: Base 650MHz / Max 1.20GHz
