This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    The new AppleTV is an odd duck. Price-wise, it's closer to an Xbox One than a Fire TV, but in terms of what it does, it's closer to a FireTV. It'll sell well to people already invested in the Apple ecosystem who aren't super price conscious, but I don't see it as a good fit for anyone else.
