When travelling recently I was shown a laptop that had a woodgrain finish.
The case was not an after market modification but an option on delivery.
I have hunted across Sydney and can't find one in any store. Worse still is I can't even remember what brand it is.

What I am looking for is the best "executive look" laptop on the market today. Woodgrain is my preference. I am looking for something that very senior executives would say "wow" to. I am looking to purchase around 12-14. Any body have any ideas what I should be looking at. Performance needs to be fast for graphics, with a large screen.

The wooden finish was for an unreleased laptop.
For a laptop for a really cool business look, I suggest you look at NC8430,ASUS V1Jp and V2Je.
The first two have excellent graphics.

It must have been released because the person who showed it to me was a consumer not a salesman! I have rang a few companies and they have no idea. Could it have even been a Mac :(

Dell has some options on its inspiron line, but the quality of inspirons leaves much to be desired....
If I remember correctly, there is an acer laptop with the woodgrain finish.. Can't remember the model, though....
Apart from special finishes, The LG S1, Asus V1Jp, Lamborghini Vx2 all look very good.

The ASUS range is good - I like the leather look as well.
Although it is not the one I saw overseas ... so any other sugestions still welcome. The ASUS is my fall back option ... now to find an Australian distributor.
