M5 at the top of the ultrabook heap? I'm speechless.
-
. Acer M5 wins? I really don't see how its better than the S9 or X1C. It's main advantage is performance, and if you want performance, why get an ultrabook?
Also, most of the criticisms against the Thinkpad X1 Carbon is the fact that it doesn't have a lot of features that are in the non ultrabook ultraportable X230. It's a valid criticism and one I agree with, but I don't see how it matters in an ultrabook comparison. -

This is a case of "beauty lies in the eye of the beholder", so "best" means different things to different people. It would, perhaps, to have several categories of best.

While the Gorilla Glass on the XPS does protect the screen, it's also highly reflective, which is very annoying at times. Plus the screen is average at best.
-
Yeah, I am not sure how the M5 is there either. The screen is about as cheap as they get and it just meets the requirements of an Ultrabook.

Think the Asus UX32VD should have been included IMHO

from what meets the eye, samsung look to be the "ultra-est", lol. I can never trust an acer, too many bad experiences
