They definitely look interesting but they do not seem to be worth the money for what you get.

That unfortunately seems to be the usual Sony knock.

    Glossy colors? :p
They blue one looks kinda cool but im afraid it could be a potential fingerprint magnet.

I would jump on one of the 14" models if they had a matte screen. They're most likely all gloss though right? Doesn't seem like it gets more matte until you get to the Z models. :(

One might need sunglasses to use the green one.

And fairly valid from what I can tell. These have actually been out in Europe (and probably Asia) for a month or so. My father's got the 17" one (he's in the UK) and we were Skyping at the weekend. The web-cam is pretty poor, the one on my Dell is far superior (we could tell as we used Skype Screen sharing to compare).

My Dad got the FHD (1080) screen option which you can get in Europe but which it looks like they're not offering in the US, so not only are we late to the party here, but get sub-standard options; another familiar story from Sony.

Pointless... I don't see what these offers. Just more fooder for the machine under a different name.

I would have liked a cheaper version of the Vaio Z... lesser screen, perhaps not carbon fiber, but still the powerful executive mobile thing.

What are the differences between CW and the new EA models? I was planning to get a CW, but now I'm confused with this new model.
