X-Bit Labs has review the Sony VAIO VGN-AR11SR which includes a Blu-Ray drive. It also has a crazy high 1920x1200 pixel resolution for full HD 1080 playback and is driven by the Go 7600GT. It's also built on beautiful carbon fibre. However, it's battery life is relatively disappointing although it is a Media Centre DTR.

I hope Blu-Ray comes out on top. IMO, it's the better format, though recent reviews say that HD-DVD has a little better picture clarity. The size of the Blu-Ray is just amazing though. Unfortunately, I think Sony may have bit off a little more than they can chew with the PS3... which is sad.
