    Exactly like the switch from Core Duo to Core 2 Duo. Almost priced exactly the same.

    So what is going to be the fastest Socket M? Are they stopping Socket M processors when these come out?

    Intel will still produce Socket M processors well into 2007.

    The Core 2 Duos that are coming with the Santa Rosa platform will have an 800MHz FSB bus (up from 667MHz), and enhanced power saving capabilities.

    Here's the models:
    • T7700 - 2.4GHz/4MB
    • T7500 - 2.2GHz/4MB
    • T7300 - 2.0GHz/4MB
    • T7100 - 1.8GHz/2MB

    I hope they'll have the HSDPA stuff built in as compulsory to carry the Centrino Pro tag, that'll be really great, regardless of the signal strenght cause built in is often more convenience!
