Samsung launches notebook (Model NT-Q30-SSD, 12.1" size) and UMPC (NT-Q1-SSD, size simmilar to old Q1, price about 2500$).

    SSD drive's reading speed is 53 Мb/s, writing speed - 28 Мb/s (for comparission: HDD Seagate Barracuda 3.5" 7200.10 750GB 7200rpm read ~68Mb/s, write ~46Mb/s, info from here).
Samsung claims, that OS loading times will be shorter by 25-50%.Drive weights by 20g less than simmilar HDD and is absolutely silent. Data on the disk should be more secure too - as it's less susceptible to shock.
