    Definitely looking forward to this... Big fan of Samsung SSD's.

    Any idea on potential speeds, IOPS, price, etc.?

    If it's anything like the Samsung 470 series, they'll be affordable, reliable, and with some pretty great performance. Hope the firmware-flashing process is easier (maybe like Intel's process), though!

    Samsung is awesome. As stated, if it performs like the 470, Samsung will have a real winner in their new SSD.

    I can't wait till these drives come out. The 512 GB will be replacing the Samsung 470 256 GB in my thinkpad.

    The photo suggests that the drive is 7mm thick which means less hassle for those with computers that accept only 7mm thick drives.
