The Samsung Note 9 series laptops are well known for their thin profiles and lightweight designs. This year at CES proves to be no different as the company unveiled what they’re claiming is the lightest 13-inch laptop on the market. However, the Notebook 9 is more than just a thin profile. The ultrabook provides a strong performance boost with Intel’s 7th-generation Kaby Lake processors and fast charging.

The weights for the 15" notebooks are impressive. They translate to 0.99kg and 1.24kg in modern measurements and make the old 15" Samsung NP900X4C (1.65kg) look heavy although that 1.65kg is still a good weight for a computer designed about 5 years ago and which has a decent 60Whr battery.

If the EXT was available with a UK keyboard then I could get excited. However, there's no hint that Samsung notebooks will be officially reappearing in Europe and my fingers get confused by the US keyboard layout.

And they've managed to fit a full size USB ports as well as HDMI ports despite the thinness, unlike Apple

Just hope this one won't explode :D

Yeah I didn't see anything about it being weaponized.. :p

Wish they could squish a 1060 in there instead of a 940.

I expect they could squeeze in the GPU but not the big fan needed to remove the heat generated when the dGPU is running. If you want dGPU capability then watch out for the Samsung Odyssey range.
